• Founder of Sunna Assets, and author/principal developer of the farady Python module, which provides free Islamic Finance tools under a GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPLv3). It is an advanced and highly-specialised human-written algorithm that converts Islamic distribution of assets into code and logic, available for use by the public, students, hobbyists, researchers, and developers.

• I feel strongly about a few AI-isms. They include:

  • Human experience and intelligence is highly superior.
  • Generative-AI is a brilliant compression of human behavior, speech and text.
  • Applications of AI should be under a user's control, and they should understand the context and process as much as possible, just like any other powerful tool.
  • The critical frontier and path to improving AI should be to address articulable human-centric needs and benefits.
  • Core research and technology should be exclusively open-source and decentralized.
  • Humans must proactively work hard to continually adapt to a changing definition of their sacred and superior value — despite some economic displacement being inevitable.
